Sharon Stone Talks Karma, China Quake

Red carpet questions are usually limited to "What are you wearing?" or "Who are you dating?" But when Sharon Stone was unexpectedly asked about the recent earthquake in China – which claimed the lives of 80,000 people – the actress walked right into a political minefield.

"At first, I'm not happy with the way the Chinese are treating the Tibetans ...," she said on camera Thursday at the Cannes Film Festival, referring to the country's alleged human rights violations. "And then all this earthquake and stuff happened and I thought, 'Is that Karma, when you're not nice that the bad things happen to you?' "

The 50-year-old actress – who has a long history of political activism and is friends with Tibet's exiled leader, the Dalai Lama – added that she'd recently gotten a letter from a Tibetan organization planning to do disaster relief work in China.

It made Stone realize, "sometimes you have to learn to put your head down and be of service even to people who are not nice to you," she explained. "That's a big lesson for me."

Denise Richards Accuses Sheen Of Vile Messages

The fued between divorcing actors Denise Richards and Charlie Sheen is continuing to play out in public, with Richards this week accusing her former husband of sending her vulgar text messages.

Richards, who was in New York promoting her new E! reality show, 'Denise Richards: It's Complicated', is claiming that Sheen, sent her vile text messages attacking her father and mother, who recently died of cancer.

"Last week, I sent Charlie a text message asking him if he's going to Family Day [for daughter Sam's school] and letting him know Sam was sick with a cold," Richards told the New York Post.

"His response was, 'I hope you and your worthless retarded father get cancer and join your stupid mom. Rot in hell you [bleeping] whore,'" Richards claims.

"My mom died of cancer. This is what I deal with on a weekly basis."

Sheen, 42, and Richards, 37, have been airing their dirty laundry on television recently, this week making headlines over an email that Sheen says the actress sent him begging for a sperm donation. Speaking on the US 'Today' show this week, Richards denied sending the email.

Richards told the New York Post, "I don't want Charlie's prostitute-tranny-infested sperm. I have two beautiful kids. We'll leave it at that. I am so over him. He's the one who can't move on. He's disgusting, and he's hit an all-time low."

Sheen's rep quickly fired back, revealing that Sheen plans to have the email analysed by experts to prove it's authenticity.

"Denise seems to be denying the existence of [the] e-mail. This goes beyond a he-said-she-said. We have an offer from a [live] TV show. They will bring a computer expert to diagnose the e-mail and to verify it was sent by her e-mail address and to verify it was neither altered nor edited. Computer DNA — it is conclusive," the rep said.

"The only time Charlie has spoken on TV about her, they were sound bites at red-carpet visits or during set visits. He has not gone on multiple TV shows this week."

'Grey's Anatomy': Shonda Rhimes on her plans for Erica and Callie

For Grey’s Anatomy fans who began the season wondering whether Dr. Erica Hahn (Brooke Smith) was gay, the May 22 season finale finally offered an answer — she might just be, now that Callie (Sara Ramirez) made her move. The two-hour episode — which culminated with Callie planting a big ol' buss on Erica outside of Seattle Grace — had us asking: For the love of The L Word, could Eri-Cal eclipse Meredith and Derek as Grey's It Couple? Creator Shonda Rhimes hints that we may not have seen the last of this budding romance. “Callie and Erica have an undeniable chemistry,” says Rhimes. “And watching the story unfold is something the writers are looking forward to. I wanted to illuminate their relationship in the same way we do all relationships on the show — it will be funny, sweet, honest, and a little bit dirty.”

'Sex and the City' - On the Set Memories

When the blogosphere exploded with pictures from the "Sex and the City" movie, fans went into sartorial shock when photos revealed Carrie Bradshaw (aka Sarah Jessica Parker) in a Vivienne Westwood wedding gown and the ladies donned in silhouette-cinching wide belts — all thanks to costume designer Patricia Field. Just more evidence of the trend-setting ways of this stylish quartet.

The show's eccentrically "haute" sense of style not only intertwined with the characters' story line, but also helped the show reach iconic status. Fashion was often at the center of key plot lines. Here are some of the most fashionable story moments in "Sex and the City" history.

Fashion roadkill

"The Real Me," season four: Carrie is asked to model a pair of nude-colored bejeweled Dolce & Gabbana underwear at a charity fashion show. As she does her best impression of a model, she falls on the runway, but finishes with no shame. The moral of the story? Wearing bejeweled panties in a runway show can give you confidence.

Raiding the Vogue closet

"A 'Vogue' Idea," season four: Carrie struggles to write her first article for Vogue, but finishes with the help of magazine bigwig Julian (Ron Rifkin). When they decide to reward themselves by raiding the Vogue sample closet, she finds a pair of Manolo Blahnik Mary Janes.
